Is the Doxie Clock already designed?+
Yes. This is not a concept waiting to be figured out. The product is designed and the final sample has been approved. Reservations help us decide how many clocks to make in the first production run.
Why are you taking pre-orders?+
We have one production window to make the Christmas season. Paid reservations give us a real demand signal before we place the manufacturing order - and help make sure a clock is made for you.
How much do I pay today?+
Just $10 per clock. Your early-bird price is $39.95 total, so the remaining $29.95 will be charged on September 3 if we reach the production goal and confirm Christmas delivery. After September 3, the price increases to $49.95.
What happens if the production goal is not reached?+
We will automatically refund your full $10 deposit and cancel the order. You will not be charged the remaining balance.
Can I cancel my reservation?+
Yes, you can cancel before the remaining balance is charged. If we do not reach the goal, your $10 is refunded automatically. Changed your mind? You can cancel any time before September 3rd.
When will my Doxie Clock arrive?+
If we reach the production goal and confirm the manufacturing timeline, the first edition is planned to arrive by mid-December - in time for Christmas.
Does it come with a wall adapter?+
No. A USB-C cable is included, but the wall adapter is not. This lets us offer one universal clock worldwide instead of producing region-specific plug versions.
Are batteries included?+
No. AAA batteries are optional and provide backup power. The clock is designed to run from USB-C power.
Can I turn the display off while sleeping?+
Yes. Night Mode lets the LED display sleep while you do. Touch the clock to wake the display.
What does the alarm sound like?+
A cheerful, happy Doxie bark - the sound of a very good dog telling you it's morning.
