Meet Nick
Meet Nick, the 6-month-old Basset Hound mix weighing in at a whopping 40 pounds! **************April 5th Update************** Nick has flourished in his foster home in Charlotte, NC. He's almost been there for two full weeks, and he's excelling in obedience, crate, and potty training with enthusiasm and a willingness to learn. His love for toys and walks is infectious, and he's embraced interacting with both dogs and cats, even adopting a charming habit of leaning against legs like their resident feline. Above all, Nick's sweet and joyful nature radiates through every moment, making him a cherished addition to the household, eagerly awaiting his forever home. ****************************************** This playful pup is currently strutting his stuff in Charlotte, North Carolina, eager to find his forever family. Nick and his sister Noel came to us from owners who were a bit surprised by puppy energy levels (who knew, right?). Now, Nick's on a mission to find a home with a fun-loving and active family who can keep up with his antics! While Noel found her forever home, Nick is still on the lookout for his perfect match. He's a total people-lover and gets along famously with other furry friends. Get ready for endless playtime and puppy snuggles with this sweet, energetic boy! Adoption Process
We have a thorough adoption process that includes an adoption application, vet check (All current and past pets have to be current on vacs. and spayed/neutered), and home check (fence required for larger dogs, etc.). If those come out good and the adoption is finalized, there is an adoption fee that is paid and a contract is signed by the adopter stating that the animal must be routinely vetted and the animal is not allowed to go to any other home w/out the rescue's approval. All of our animals are spayed/neutered before adopting out and currenton vacs (as well as flea and HW meds).
