Meet Chris

Charming Chris! He is a good boy but will need some obedience training. He is a little selective of his doggie friends so he will have to meet all housemates before adoption. He was found as a stray on 7/31/2023 in Harmony Township with a collar but No ID, No Microchip. No one came looking for him. Chris is a Flat Coated Retriever about 4 years old. The people who found him named him so we kept the name of "Chris". He would do best in a home with older children and no cats.UPDATE: 8/11/23 Chris has been to the vet and has tested positive for heart worms. He won't be able to start treatment at the shelter due to the fact he must remain quiet and be in a quiet environment. Please consider helping Chris by finding him a home that will help him! There is a group that will help assist, in some manner, with the cost of his treatment to an approved adopter. Don't let this be the reason you don't adopt him, he still deserves a loving family! Come meet Chris at the Morrow County Dog Shelter, Mt. Gilead, OH. 419-946-1747

Adoption Process
Adoption fee is $130 and includes spay/neuter, vaccinations, heartworm test and license. Must meet the dog you are interested in first then complete an application in order to be considered.

Look for other dogs for adoption!
