She does suffer from anxiety and would benefit from a quieter home life. She does great with older children (7+) but rambunctious toddlers increase her anxiety. We have a large family and are a high energy family. Unfortunately, this is not a good fit for Sage. Sage would thrive in a consistent, predictable, quiet environment. Sage was effectively socialized when she was younger, but it has been a few years since Sage has been socialized with other animals. At that time, she loved playing and never had any aggressive tendencies toward other animals. She has never been around small dogs or cats. She has been through obedience training through a local trainer. PLEASE NOTE: THIS IS NOT A GSRA DOG. ONLY CONTACT THIS INDIVIDUAL ABOUT THIS DOG. Adoption Process
We require an application to be filled out on our website - http://gsdrescue.org/index.html After the application is submitted a Vet Check, Phone Interview, and Home Visit are required to receive approval for adoption. Once approval is granted then the applicant and a GSD match is made then a trial will take place (usually 1 week). The adoption fee is $300 and an adoption contract is required at the time of the trial.
