Meet O'BRIEN

This handsome boy is O’Brien. He is a 3 year old Pit Bull who is neutered, microchipped, and current on all vaccines. He came to our facility as a stray after being found running with other similar dogs near a Dollar General. O’Brien was very thin, injured, and terrified of people. This boy stayed in the back corner of his kennel during his quarantine period yet showed no signs of aggression. Our staff slowly, introduced kindness into his life and we were able to begin interacting with him. With the help of our amazing volunteers, we can now get O’Brien out for long walks and he is more comfortable with human interaction. He is still somewhat nervous but more tolerant of affection. He has been cleared for adoption, which is amazing that he’s come this far. We’re still working with him so he will need some patience, but I’m sure he will make an awesome pet once his trust is earned.

Look for other dogs for adoption!
