Meet Marta

Marta is ready for adoption!  This cutie is a mix of what we think is Toy Fox Terrier and Dachshund. She is about 5-6 months old and currently weighs 15 pounds.  We think she will be around 20 pounds fully grown.  Marta came to us from Texas where she was found as a stray.   Marta is an absolutely adorable and playful little pup! She has such a love for playing with other dogs, and her favorite games are chase and tug-of-war. Marta is happiest when she's outside, especially since her foster home has a fully fenced yard for her to run around in. She’s still getting the hang of leash training, so she’ll need a bit of help with that in her new home. Being a young pup, some basic training would be great for her. The good news is that she’s crate trained and does really well in the car! Marta adores toys and chewies, and she's quite the smart cookie, making her a fantastic family dog or loving companion. When you pick her up, she snuggles right into your neck, soaking up all the love!  She’s gentle with people, but keep in mind that she may take a little time to adjust to new homes and routines. Just be patient and kind with her—she’s simply too cute not to love! Marta is spayed, up to date with vaccines, microchipped and flea/worm treated.  Her adoption fee is $450 We require that a martingale collar be used at the time of adoption. If you do not have a martingale collar, you can purchase one from Pixie Mamas for an additional $10. This requirement is in place to ensure the dog's safety and security.
