Meet Trevor

Please meet our handsome Shiba Inu Trevor!  Trevor came to us from a breeder who is closing their doors (woohoo!).  He is 2 years old and weighs 21 pounds.   Meet Trevor, your typical Shiba Inu! He's a curious, charming, and smart little guy with a bit of a stubborn streak. After spending his life in a barn, everything is a thrilling adventure for him!   Trevor is great with other dogs and loves to hang out with them. While he's not quite ready to play and wrestle just yet, he enjoys running around and watching their antics. He absolutely loves being outside, and whenever the door opens, you can bet he's right there, ready to explore! His foster home has a lovely fully fenced yard where he can soak up the sun and enjoy the fresh air. We hope his new home will also have a fenced yard since he’s still learning to walk on a leash (no invisible fences for him!).   He’s making good strides with housetraining, but keep in mind he might need a little time to adjust. Trevor is also getting the hang of leash walking and is nicely crate trained.   In his foster home, he’s shown some curiosity about the cats, but since they’re all new to him, he’s still figuring them out. As for kids, Trevor hasn’t interacted with them since coming to the rescue, but we believe he would do wonderfully with well-behaved children.   Overall, Trevor is a well-mannered sweetheart who just wants to be by his foster mom’s side as he discovers this exciting new world. With a bit of time and love, he’s sure to become an amazing companion! Trevor is neutered, up to date with vaccines, microchipped, flea/worm treated and tested neg. for heartworm.  His adoption fee is $500
