Meet Bess

Meet Beautiful Bess, a stunning Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier who is 2 years old and weighs 32 pounds. Bess had a tough start to life, spending her early years in a barn, used solely for breeding puppies to make a profit. Despite this, Bess is a loving dog who is in search of a forever home where she can be cherished and loved. Are you ready to welcome this charming girl into your life and give her the love and care she deserves? Bess has made a lot progress in her foster home, but she is still in the process of adjusting to her new life. This smart girl has been learning a lot, but it's important to keep in mind that she is still adapting to her new role as a pet. Bess is doing well with her house training, but please expect an adjustment period when she's in a new home. It may take some time and patience for her to adjust to a new routine and environment. She is still a bit nervous, so she requires a secure, fenced yard- no invisible fences. Bess would love to have another dog around to help her establish confidence and trust in people and she will learn from them too! If there are no other dogs in the home, it's important that her person/people be home a lot to spend time with her and keep her company. Although Bess is not a destructive dog, she may become anxious if left alone for extended periods. She is crate trained but still learning to walk on a leash. Bess is more comfortable being inside rather than outside, but she is making steady progress in learning to trust people. It's heartwarming to observe her giving gentle kisses to her foster mom! With love, kindness, and patience, Bess will continue to flourish and live the life she deserves. Bess is spayed, up to date with vaccines, microchipped, flea/worm treated and tested negative for heartworm.  Her adoption fee is $475
