Meet Xena

Xena is a cute little tricolored terrier puppy who was found as a stray out in the woods, miles from anything.  The people who found her couldn't keep her because they have health issues, and so Xena came into rescue. She is some kind of terrier - Fox terrier, Rat terrier, possibly smooth coated Jack Russell terrier, but without a DNA test it's hard to say just what kind she is. She does have the typical terrier puppy disposition.  She is feisty, high-activity, playful and friendly.  She got a good vet check and has been given age-appropriate vaccinations, has been dosed with Nexgard Plus for flea/tick/worm prevention, and microchipped.  She weighed 11 pounds on 4/21/25. The vet estimated that she was born somewhere around 1/29/25. Because she is too young to spay, she will be placed with a spay contract.  When proof of surgery has been received, adopter will be mailed a rebate check for $50.00 Her adoption fee is $250.00 If you would like to adopt Xena, email me at [email protected] and request an application.
