Meet 46939 Covey

Covey (46939) is two year old Labrador retriever available for adoption. Her owner unfortunately got sick and could no longer take care of her. She loves to run around in the backyard, usually with a toy in her mouth. Covey would greatly benefit by going to a home that understands her breed and the exercise she will need daily. She is food motivated and will sit polity for treats. Covey is a nice girl but sometimes forgets her own strength and size! Because of this, we believe she would do best in a home with children older than 5. Covey has met other dogs here at the shelter and got along with them well. We recommend bringing in your dog(s) to meet Covey to make sure they are a good match. You can visit this pet during our Animal Viewing Hours below. Applications are accepted in person at our facility after you visit this pet out of their cage. You can call first to see if this pet is still available: 410-313-2780 Option 0.   Location: Howard County Animal Control and Adoption Center 8576 Davis Rd Columbia, MD 21045   Animal Viewing Hours: Mon, Wed, Fri 10:00-4:30 (Closed at 2:30 the last Friday of each month) Tues & Thurs 1:30-6:45 Sat 10:00-2:00 (Closed on county observed holidays and holiday weekends.)
