Meet Rocky

Rocky was rescued from a dangerous situation, and came into the shelter very underweight, heartworm positive, and covered in sores. He is a very sweet boy who is around 3 years old. He likes other dogs and ignored the cats when he arrived at the shelter. He's been getting the care he needs at the shelter to put on weight and take care of his open sores. He was only 43 pounds when he came into the shelter, but he has already put on at least 13 pounds, and his coat is getting shinier. He’s a friendly, playful guy who will greet you with a toy and wagging tail when he sees you. He's always ready for a walk, and is doing well with walking on a harness. He'll also find a comfortable spot to nap, or chew on one of his toys, while he waits for someone to give him attention, or take him on another outing. He’s ready to be in his forever home getting the love and attention he deserves.
