Meet Honey

Honey is a 3 year old female Pit mix, who is ready to brighten your life! She may be a little shy at first, but she is a super lovable girl who savors affection and cuddles with her people. As much as she enjoys a good run in the park, she greatly prefers getting loved on. Honey was part of a sad hoarding case of neglected animals kept in horrible conditions. But while she has had some difficult times in her life, her joyful and sweet spirit still shines so brightly! Honey is good on a leash, and clearly enjoys any time spent with her human friends. She is truly a testament to the amazing resilience of dogs, and is so deserving to know the love and security of her forever home. So if you’re looking for a loyal companion who will give you unconditional love and always put you first, then Honey is the one for you.   The adoption fee covers the following: spay or neuter surgery; one-year rabies vaccine; feline or canine distemper vaccine; heartworm test (dogs) or combo (fiv/felv) test (cats); deworming; and microchip. The hours of operation are: Monday through Wednesday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Thursday 12:30 pm till 6:00 pm; Friday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Saturday 9:00 am till 4:00 pm. The Carroll County Animal Shelter will be closed the last Friday of every month for deep cleaning, staff training, and animal enrichment.
