Meet Tango

Tango is a 6 month old male Shepherd mix who’s ready to light up your life with his gentle charm and sweet nature. He enjoys leash walks, playtime, and making new friends - both human and canine. Tango arrived at the shelter with several siblings, and has shown himself to be friendly and social with other dogs. Despite his lively name, he often prefers staying calmly by your side just to soak up love and affection. One of his favorite moments recently was spending time sitting beside a volunteer, simply enjoying her peaceful company and occasional pets. He seems to know what it’s like to be cherished by humans, and is now patiently waiting for someone to offer him the kind of forever love he knows exists. So if you’re ready to open your heart and home to a precious pup, Tango will reward you with full devotion, love, and a lifetime of joy.   The adoption fee covers the following: spay or neuter surgery; one-year rabies vaccine; feline or canine distemper vaccine; heartworm test (dogs) or combo (fiv/felv) test (cats); deworming; and microchip. The hours of operation are: Monday through Wednesday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Thursday 12:30 pm till 6:00 pm; Friday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Saturday 9:00 am till 4:00 pm. The Carroll County Animal Shelter will be closed the last Friday of every month for deep cleaning, staff training, and animal enrichment.
