Meet Emerald

Emerald is an 8 month old female Redbone Coonhound mix with a heart as warm as her gorgeous, rust-colored coat. This affectionate girl is happiest when she’s snuggled up beside you, soaking up all the pets and attention she can get. She’ll gladly curl up in your lap and stay there as long as you’ll let her, always ready to share some love. Emerald arrived at the shelter with several siblings who have all found homes, and now it’s her turn to shine. With her sweet nature, loving personality, and strong bond with people, it’s easy to see why she won’t be waiting long. She’s the perfect companion for someone looking for a loyal, cuddly friend to share life with. Come meet Emerald soon, and see if this wonderful cuddlebug is the one for you. The adoption fee covers the following: spay or neuter surgery; one-year rabies vaccine; feline or canine distemper vaccine; heartworm test (dogs) or combo (fiv/felv) test (cats); deworming; and microchip. Carroll County Animal Shelter is located at 251 Automation Drive in Carrollton GA. Phone: 770-214-3590. The hours of operation are: Monday through Wednesday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Thursday 12:30 pm till 6:00 pm; Friday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Saturday 9:00 am till 4:00 pm.
