Meet Ellie

Ellie is an almost 1 year old Lab mix. This sweet girl is very energetic and playful! Ellie would love to find a home where she has a big back yard to play in. Ellie came to us with another dog, but we always suggest a meet-n-greet if you have other dogs in the home. She has lived in a home with children before, but we would suggest her with older children. We would also always suggest bringing your children with you to meet any of the dogs before taking them home. Ellie has a pretty typical lab personality, so we definitely suggest doing some research on the breed before adopting. Ellie is usually seen smiling and wagging her tail; always excited to meet new friends! Her new family will need to remember that she is basically still a puppy and will need some basic training. The adoption fee covers the following: spay or neuter surgery; one-year rabies vaccine; feline or canine distemper vaccine; heartworm test (dogs) or combo (fiv/felv) test (cats); deworming; and microchip.Carroll County Animal Shelter is located at 251 Automation Drive in Carrollton GA. Phone: 770-214-3590. The hours of operation are: Monday through Wednesday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Thursday 12:30 pm till 6:00 pm; Friday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Saturday 9:00 am till 4:00 pm. The Carroll County Animal Shelter will be closed the last Friday of every month for deep cleaning, staff training, and animal enrichment.

Look for other dogs for adoption!
