Meet Missy

Missy is a sweet and beautiful Black Lab mix that is currently being fostered along with her brother, Brewster. Both are estimated at 1 yr old and both are Housebroken. Missy weighs about 50 lbs. She is the less dominant one of the two siblings. Foster Mom says the following: "She is very sweet. She comes when called. She loves being with people and follows closely outside. She is learning basic commands. We are working on leash walking and she is now crate trained. She sleeps in her bed at night. She tries to play with the other dogs in the home, but they are not really very interested. Her brother can play rough, sometimes. She loves her squeaky toy. Both dogs are still a bit nervous about getting in the car, but once in, they are wonderful.” The foster family obtained a new horse recently and Missy has been doing ok around it and getting used to it as well as a neighbor’s horse. Missy and Brewster enjoy playtime together but are not closely bonded, so each is looking for their very own homes. Both have been fully vetted, spayed/neutered and are deemed healthy and ready to find their very own homes.
