Meet Peppermint

Peppermint is another one of our shy pups, but oh so very sweet, kind and loving. These dogs are often overlooked for adoption as it is more difficult for them to show their true charm and personalities. She’s just over a year old and weighing around 45 pounds. Coming to the stressful shelter environment took some adjustment for her but after making a few human and doggy friends, she’s settling in. However, finding a loving, safe and secure forever home would be the best outcome possible for this adorable girl. She enjoys playing with other kind dogs and, although a bit shy initially with humans, she becomes affectionate once comfortable. She is a bit shyer with men which is often the case with sensitive dogs. Peppermint would thrive with a gentle and confident companion who can help her feel safe and bring out her best qualities. We don't have information on her interactions with cats or in a kennel. Peppermint seeks a loving, gentle home where she can feel secure and build confidence. She would also benefit by having a furry play buddy and a secure yard to play in. If you're interested in meeting this beautiful, sweet pup, call us at 352-528-9888 or message here to set up an appointment. Let's find Peppermint the wonderful home and family that she deserves!
