Meet Prancer

Prancer is an 8 month old Hound/Pit mix, who has a heart full of love and a nose ready for adventure. She’s already picked up leash manners like a pro and loves nothing more than strolling through the park, sniffing out the world one scent at a time. Prancer arrived at the shelter with her siblings and seems to get along well with other dogs (although a Meet n Greet is always recommended if you have other dogs in the household). She’s eager to please her human friends and is at that perfect age to soak up new commands and routines. Having had so little in life, she doesn’t ask for much … but that just means she deserves that much more! This girl is so deserving of a loving home, where she can finally know what it’s like to be a cherished member of a family. Give her that, and she will fill your life with love, gratitude, and joy beyond measure. The adoption fee covers the following: spay or neuter surgery; one-year rabies vaccine; feline or canine distemper vaccine; heartworm test (dogs) or combo (fiv/felv) test (cats); deworming; and microchip.Carroll County Animal Shelter is located at 251 Automation Drive in Carrollton GA. Phone: 770-214-3590. The hours of operation are: Monday through Wednesday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Thursday 12:30 pm till 6:00 pm; Friday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Saturday 9:00 am till 4:00 pm. The Carroll County Animal Shelter will be closed the last Friday of every month for deep cleaning, staff training, and animal enrichment.
