Meet Pica

Pica is a beautiful girl. She was returned with her cat companion after 5 years. Her adopter was aging and could not care for them. Her companion was adopted and Pica is looking for a good home. She is a portly girl who does like her food. She has been on a slimming program and should be maintained on it. Pica is friendly but is reserved around humans. However, she loves to play with her favorite wand toy. She would do best in either a single cat home or with another quiet cat. No dogs. Adoption Process
We have an application that must be filled out including a vet reference and non-relative references. A 24 hour hold on the application allows the ARC volunteer to call references and follow up with any questions for the potential adopter. A home visit may be scheduled at this point. If the person is approved, they must sign a contract. An adoption fee is required, however this may be waived in special circumstances. If for any reason in the future they can no longer take care of the pet, the animal must be returned to ARC.
