If you are looking for a friendly, playful cat, then Sammy is your boy. He is curious and will check out everything, but once he does he runs back for pets, tummy rubs, and cuddling. All of the cat room volunteers love him. He has been around other cats. He probably would do well with small dogs with proper introduction.
Adoption Process
We have an application that must be filled out including a vet reference and non-relative references. A 24 hour hold on the application allows the ARC volunteer to call references and follow up with any questions for the potential adopter. A home visit may be scheduled at this point. If the person is approved, they must sign a contract. An adoption fee is required, however this may be waived in special circumstances. If for any reason in the future they can no longer take care of the pet, the animal must be returned to ARC.
