Caroline found herself in a local shelter when her owner was no longer able to care for her. She is outgoing and rolls around for attention. She is two years old. We are not sure if she likes dogs and cats. She has been an only cat and possibly would prefer that. Adoption Process
We have an application that must be filled out including a vet reference and non-relative references. A 24 hour hold on the application allows the ARC volunteer to call references and follow up with any questions for the potential adopter. A home visit may be scheduled at this point. If the person is approved, they must sign a contract. An adoption fee is required, however this may be waived in special circumstances. If for any reason in the future they can no longer take care of the pet, the animal must be returned to ARC.
