Big Foot is a friendly orange boy. He loves pets and will purr up a storm if you will just spend some petting time with him. He is initially shy and may hide, but pokes his head out if you call his name. He likes a wand toy and noisy balls. He has grown up around cats, but dogs unknown. With proper introduction, he might do well with small dogs
Adoption Process
We have an application that must be filled out including a vet reference and non-relative references. A 24 hour hold on the application allows the ARC volunteer to call references and follow up with any questions for the potential adopter. A home visit may be scheduled at this point. If the person is approved, they must sign a contract. An adoption fee is required, however this may be waived in special circumstances. If for any reason in the future they can no longer take care of the pet, the animal must be returned to ARC.
