Animal Rescue Carolina, Inc.

We are a new organization, only recently submitting our paperwork for the Federal 501(c)3. We have all volunteered with other rescue organizations and have spent years doing personal rescues. We are completely foster-based, believing small, foster-based rescues have a place in the rescue/shelter universe. We do rescue because we can't turn our backs on the animals we come across in need.

Meet Kahlua

Kahlua born around 2/9/22 is a Tortie without the Tude.  She is very affectionate and will chat to you. She was found in shrubs outside a vets office, hiding from the feral colony who live there.  She is defensive with other cats but with good introduction she would do well. She is also cross eyed and it is a very cute addition to a beautiful girl.Come and meet her at our Saturday adoption events from 12-4 at Harbison Petsmart.  You can email us at [email protected] for an application, or copy and paste the link below.https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSewznLashiSRIp1knDZIozOSuKU-YtrS8n9ChHVCA38l9NNLA/viewform

Adoption Process
We have an application that must be filled out including a vet reference and non-relative references. A 24 hour hold on the application allows the ARC volunteer to call references and follow up with any questions for the potential adopter. A home visit may be scheduled at this point. If the person is approved, they must sign a contract. An adoption fee is required, however this may be waived in special circumstances. If for any reason in the future they can no longer take care of the pet, the animal must be returned to ARC.

Look for other cats for adoption!
