About

Meet 42913 - Nova

Nova is a female kitten who is so adorably cute and shy. She is just learning to meet new people and when you first walk in, you might see her hiding behind her bed. If you talk gently, you will see her peek overtop the bed and watch you. If you just stand calm and talk to her, she will relax. If you move slowly and pet her with one finger, she completely changes her mind and melts while you pet her. She rolls upside down and then comes over to rub on you for lots of attention. She has definitely known what love is before. Nova just didn’t learn that she can trust new people yet. If you are kind and patient, Nova will get used to you too. Once she knows you, she will be a very loving kitten and you can show her that she can trust you. She would do well in an adult home or a home with older children who understand how to be gentle. Nova is just getting used to her surroundings here. Come on by to meet this cutie as we get to know more about her. Don’t get offended if she hisses at you. It is just her saying how scared she is. In a few more days, she will probably be used to her surroundings here and ready for you to take her home. You can visit Nova now during our Animal Viewing Hours below.
