Hello, you can call me Melepomene. I'm a black girl kitty of six months, and like my sisters, I'm named after a Greek Muse. In my case, my name means "to celebrate with dance and song", so that's pretty cool. I'm still working on my singing voice; right now all I can really do is meow, but maybe I can expand that into chirping if I see like, a cool bird I want to catch or something. There aren't really any birds here at the shelter, so I'm gonna need to find a furever home if I want to work on that. Wheezy and I are sharing a cage now. We kept opening the dividers so we could interact and play with each other. The shelter staff removed the dividers so now we both share one big cage and really enjoy spending more time with each other. The adoption fee covers the following: spay or neuter surgery; one-year rabies vaccine; feline or canine distemper vaccine; heartworm test (dogs) or combo (fiv/felv) test (cats); deworming; and microchip. Carroll County Animal Shelter is located at 251 Automation Drive in Carrollton GA. Phone: 770-214-3590. The hours of operation are: Monday through Wednesday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Thursday 12:30 pm till 6:00 pm; Friday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Saturday 9:00 am till 4:00 pm.
