Hi there! My name is Averil, and I'm a five year old brown tabby girl with a little bit of white on my face. I'm a nice girl who like to get pets from people, and I like to snuggle with you, too. You can pick me up, and I'll purr very strongly for you. I did not have the best life outside of the shelter, and in fact, when I stand up, you might notice that I've lost a lot of fur and muscle tone in my legs. But it's growing back, and with time and good nutrition, I'm going to be a beautiful girl! Also, I don't mind other cats too much--this young whippersnapper Alexa actually opened the barrier between our two cages so she could hang out with me, and I kinda like having her around. So if you're looking for two girl kitties, you might think about adopting both of us--though we will also be fine if we're separated. Come see me soon! The adoption fee covers the following: spay or neuter surgery; one-year rabies vaccine; feline or canine distemper vaccine; heartworm test (dogs) or combo (fiv/felv) test (cats); deworming; and microchip. Carroll County Animal Shelter is located at 251 Automation Drive in Carrollton GA. Phone: 770-214-3590. The hours of operation are: Monday through Wednesday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Thursday 12:30 pm till 6:00 pm; Friday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Saturday 9:00 am till 4:00 pm. The Carroll County Animal Shelter will be closed the last Friday of every month for deep cleaning, staff training, and animal enrichment.
