Meet Bessie May

Bessie May is looking for a FOSTER or FOREVER home Bessie May- a sweet girl with loads of love to give. She is a higher energy dog when she wants to be and is very excitable. This makes her jump in greeting so she may be better in a home with bigger children. She is a fast learner but could use someone with the time to help her with her manners when she’s excited. Otherwise she’s more than willing to curl up on the couch with you and relax, she has a pretty good on off switch. She is attached at the hip and will bark when you leave but isn’t loud for too long and has never been destructive. She’s great with the cat and good with the other dogs but is still learning how to appropriately play and need supervision around high value toys and food.

Adoption Process
Adopters must fill out application and provide 3 references and current veterinarian (if applicable). All animals are spay/neutered and microchipped prior to adoption. Contract includes commitment to keep cats indoors (unless adopting a feral to be a barn cat), keeping identification on dogs, and returning animals to LAWS if owner can no longer care for them

Look for other dogs for adoption!
