Across America Boxer Rescue

Our Rescue is an all volunteer effort to rescue, rehabilitate, and re-home unwanted and abandoned Boxer dogs. When Boxers are in need, Across America Boxer Rescue's dedicated volunteers respond. Our mission includes hands-on rescue, as well as education. Our rescue is dedicated in helping as many Boxers that have had a very "ruff" start for whatever reason. All Boxers that come into our rescue will be examined by our vet, brought up to date on vaccines, heart worm tested, (placed on heart worm preventive medication) and fecal tested, and spayed/neutered prior to adoption. We will evaluate each Boxer's personality and temperament, so they can be placed in the best home suited for them.

Meet Buddy

Buddy was left behind when his owner moved.  A wonderful neighbor took him in and reached our for rescue help for him.  He is the sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeetest boy and just adorable!!  He received all of his routine vetting and is scheduled for neuter surgery on 4/30.  He is pretty nervous and confused right now due to all of the life changes he has experienced over the past week or so but he is settling in well at this temp foster home in Kentucky.  Buddy is good with other dogs and is said to be good with cats and with kids, we will work on testing that out. He will have a little time to recover from surgery there then he will go to his Wisconsin fsoter home.4/30 UPDATE: Buddy was neutered today and did great!!!!!  

Adoption Process
Adoption application, 3 personal reference checks, vet reference check, home visit, adoption contract, spay/neuter, microchip, vaccinations, medical care, hw preventive, hw treatment, and any other medical needs.
