Meet Jelly
Meet Jelly, Jelly Belly, Jelly Roll, Jell Bell… She’ll come to just about anything if you talk nice to her! This 20 pound Chihuahua/Dachshund (Chiweenie) mix is so easy going! She gets along wonderfully with other dogs, cats, and kids (even little kids)! Don’t let her eyes confuse you. She always looks worried but she’s not! It’s just her face!! Jelly came to us because she was full of bladder stones and broken teeth. Both of these issues have been resolved and she’s ready for her forever home! She will need to be on a high quality freeze dried food or prescription food to make sure those nasty stones never come back! Jelly will go outside to potty or use potty pads if you’re not home. She has been crated in the past, but it does make her anxious and she’ll bark. Honestly, there’s been no need to crate her in her foster home! She loves to go for walks and walks well on a leash. But she’s also perfectly content to lay on the couch and snooze and cuddle with you. At night she LOVES sleeping in bed with you and is happiest curled up next to you under the blankets. She’s simply a wonderful dog! Jelly also has a heart murmur but at this time there are no clinical symptoms and she’s not on any heart medication.
