Pixel is a handsome 2 year old with just the cutest, square head! He is very gentle with taking treats, and knows how to sit, but doesn’t seem like he knows much for other commands. In the short time I spent in working with him to see what he knows, he was following the “down” command, and “nice” command very well, so he is a super smart boy and will catch on quick! He has lived with other dogs, male dogs to be specific, so he is okay with having another companion around! He has not lived with cats, so that is unbeknownst to us as of right now. He loves his tennis balls more than most other toys. He goes and fetches pretty well, but will release it about halfway back to you! He has lived with children also, and seems to gentle with kids, and will be their snuggle buddy come nighttime. He is good about riding in the car and is familiar with an electric fence. This boy is the full package! He won’t be here long! If you would like to meet me, please visit our website and complete the pre-adoption application. Once it has been processed then we can make a date to get together! All dogs are spayed/neutered, heartworm tested (if over 2 years old), vaccinated, dewormed, flea and tick treated, microchipped and more before adoption. Our adoption policies include: Application, Vet Reference, Landlord approval & Criminal Background Check. We do not do same day adoptions. We request that you call for an appointment after your application has been approved to come and visit the dog of your choice. If you have a dog currently, you should bring him/her along to meet the new dog so we can see how everyone interacts. Please visit our website for additional information. The online application can be found at :https://hsburnettcty.org/adoption-guidelines/
