Community Cat Inc

We are a small group of people dedicated to ending feline overpopulation in our area. We do this through trap-neuter-return and low cost spay/neuter services through a variety of clinics. We also work to keep feral cats from being killed in shelters buy offering TNR and our farm cat program. We offer help to owners of cats for behavioral issues to try and keep these animals in their home.

Meet Slim Jim

Hi there, my name is Slim Jim. Or sometimes it's Bubba. Or Bubby. Or Slimbo. Or Rambo. I have a lot of names. My foster family says I have a big heart, big smarts, and big farts!  I have a big heart because I love lots of stuff, like making new human friends and CAR RIDES. Seriously I have no sense of stranger danger and will try to jump in anyone's car for a ride. I love a good chew treat and cheeseburgers. I love my blankie and sleeping all snuggled up in my crate, so will you please tuck me in every night? I love snuggles and giving kisses, but maybe bigger kids would be best for me because I REALLY get into the snuggles and don't want to accidentally knock a tiny human down. I do NOT love the cold or rainy weather, but I love dressing up in my sweaters and jackets to stay warm! I love butt scratches, tummy rubs, all kinds of adventures, and learning new things.    Speaking of learning new things, I have big smarts in this big noggin of mine! I pick up on new tricks super fast and already know how to sit, lay down, shake, wait, back (to sit in the back seat of the car), cross (the street), and turn left (I'm working on "right"). I am great at food puzzles, and especially love my snuffle mat. I am crate trained and super polite on my leash when we're out for walks. I even know how to use agility equipment and am learning how to use a doggy treadmill. My recent record is 13 MPH!   My big farts are not so bad if I use a puzzle feeder, because then I don't eat so fast. It's this stubby, snorty nose of mine, I can't help but take in extra air.   There are a few things I don't love, mostly kitties (I want to eat them) and other dogs (they scare me). I take a cheap, daily anxiety medication (cost is under $10/mo) which helps me be more comfortable and my foster family has done a TON of training with me. They are sponsoring a private training session for whoever adopts me, to set me up for success in my new home!    Also, because I have such big smarts I take some things as a personal challenge. Crates and fences, for example. I think they are puzzles to be solved! I need a beefier crate than most dogs and a solid plan to keep me in the yard if I'm off-leash, because if that fence isn't solid like Mount Everest I am outtie! But I don't chew on or damage things in the house, don't worry about that.    I've been waiting for a home of my very own for far too long! So if you're looking for a Very Good Boy who you can have a lot of fun with, please reach out and ask for me, Slim Jim aka Bubba aka Bubby aka Slimbo aka Rambo.         Approximate DOB: 2021 Foster Home Location: Madison    If you are interested in adopting one of our wonderful dogs, you can apply on our website: https://forms.gle/MGakwmFh92UiK9iM6     Please allow several days for us to process your application.
