Miss Snow is a retriever mix. Her paperwork says she is 7 years old but based on her energy we would say she is 2-4 years! She was in a neglect situation and was used to breed over and over again.. but that didnt stop this SWEET girl from her happy demeanor! She is great with dogs, cats and kids! She is the REAL DEAL! She would thrive in a home with another male dog. She likes dogs her size and dogs smaller than her and plays well with both. She would do best to learn with just 1 male her size or 2 smaller as a larger pack can be overwhelming for her. She is an alpha female and does not do well with other alpha females. She would do best as an only dog or with a male dog. We have not tested her with calm females. She lives with a cat that has swatted her and she walked away. She seems ok with cats but it could depend on the cat. She does jump up and often. She doesnt knock a person over, but the trainer is working on this and she keeps doing it.. so a home would have to be prepared for her to jump up. She is a licker and will give you a bath of kisses. She did test positive for heartworm so she was treated in GA and was also spayed and vetted. We do recommend a fenced yard for Snow as she likes to run. She is fast too. So a fenced yard is requried for this gal. She loves to play and is super smart, but she does tend to bolt out the door so a fenced yard is best. She is in a foster home and will travel to WI once we have an open foster home. She would LOVE to have a family waiting for her! Adoption Process
Adopters fill out an application which is processed with a background check, vet check and reference check. A home visit is completed before the adoption is final. Dog adoption Fees: PUPPY $350. ADULT AGE 1-5 YRS $300. ADULT AGE 6YRS OR OVER $200 Cat Adoption Fees: KiITTEN $100 ADULT 1-5 YRS $60 OVER 6 YRS $40
