Meet Cinnamon - FL

Cinnamon is a sweetheart 60lb, 7 year old female Malinois. She and two other dogs were found with her deceased owner that passed from heart complications.    She is spayed, up to date on all vaccinations, worming and preventatives.    Even though Cinnamon has gone through a traumatic experience, she still approaches people with a soft friendly nature. She allows handling of her body without issue and knows basic commands.    Cinnamon loves hanging out on the in the back yard watching the golf carts go by, couch snoozing, watching TV and snuggle time. She thinks Ball is Life but has a fantastic off switch and will settle nicely after to relax and chill. She loves all toys but is like most Mals is an aggressive chewer!   Cinnamon does not like being kenneled and will stress bark. Her current foster is working on allowing her to remain loose at all times. So far she has not been destructive. She will sleep peacefully in her on bed at night.   She would do best in a home with a homebody; someone that is retired or works from home.    Cinnamon would do best as an only dog even though she did well with one on one introductions to new dogs at the shelter but stressed during playgroup. She did not do well with female dogs in her temporary foster home.    She was tested with caged cats and remained calm and non-reactive.    Located in the central of Florida.  Coordinator: Brandy Whiddon If you have a completed foster/adoption application please reach out!  If not - no worries, just complete the below application to get started:  https://malinoisrescue.org/forms/form?formid=6574 Please use your computer as phones tend to glitch during the application.  To ensure our rescued Malinois are going to a good home, our rescue requires 3 personal reference checks, a Veterinary reference check and a home visit.

Adoption Process
Adoption application must be submitted, personal references, and Vet references are checked. Adoption fees are $350 and if the adoption does not work out the dog must come back to us contractually
