Meet Mystic

**Mystic's adoption is sponsored -  her adoption fee is $0.00 for an approved applicant!!*  Mystic is yet another dog that came in as a stray and went unclaimed! She is a beautiful girl and just the sweetest And about 2 years old. Her favorite thing is a belly rub! She is likely a cross between St Bernard and Pyrenees and is close to 100 pounds, so someone with big breed experience is preferred but not critical. She seems to not mind cats at all, and may have a four legged sibling pending how her meet and greet goes, given the proper introduction. She does prefer male dogs, as she very much has an Alpha female personality and clashes with most other females she has been in contact with. She loves to be outside and given her long coat, we can make the assumption that she doesn't mind the cold! She was known to wander before she came into us, as she was spotted around the same area, but in different parts for several days prior to her getting brought in to us, so someone who can train her, or someone with a fenced in yard would be beneficial. She's house trained, walks pretty calmly on leash and knows some basic commands but lacks some as manners as she loves to jump up on you.  However, she's very food motivated - gets 'happy feet' when she sees treats - so training shouldn't be a problem.  Come meet this beauty - her soft, long, golden coat and her gorgeous amber eyes will make you fall in love.  She'll give you lots of love in return. If you’re a heated, or weighted blanket type of person, this gal is for you, she loves to be on your lap and keep you warm!  If you would like to meet me, please visit our website and complete the pre-adoption application.  Once it has been processed then we can make a date to get together! All dogs are spayed/neutered, heartworm tested (if over 2 years old), vaccinated, dewormed, flea and tick treated, microchipped and more before adoption. Our adoption policies include: Application, Vet Reference, Landlord approval & Criminal Background Check. We do not do same day adoptions. We request that you call for an appointment after your application has been approved to come and visit the dog of your choice. If you have a dog currently, you should bring him/her along to meet the new dog so we can see how everyone interacts.  Please visit our website for additional information. The online application can be found at :https://hsburnettcty.org/adoption-guidelines/
