She's smart, beautiful and curious.  When she first arrived here from Texas, she was pretty scared and unsure, it took her a few hours to decompress enough to allow a few pets. But can ya blame her? She just traveled across the country in a van full of puppies, I would have needed time too!  She has really come to trust her foster mom, allowing her to snuggle, brush, play with and pet her. She does okay with the kids in the house (10&12), she kindly let's them know if she feels uncomfortable. She is standoffish of new people, she likes to bark and huffs to let them know that she needs some space. It takes her time to feel comfortable, but she's a lover when she gets there.   She does well with the dogs in the house, one is 3 years old and the other a puppy, she's more interested in the puppy energy though.  She has been in the kennel durning the day and at night and has done well, she just loudly protests for a few minutes. So far no accidents in the house or the kennel. She has also slept in the bed and is the best foot warmer   Dori is absolutely worth the time it takes her to warm up ♥️ She loves to be loved   Our Pack Animal Rescue,  Inc. Is an all foster based 501c3 rescue. License #487823. Meet and greets are arranged after an application has been approved. An approved application does not mean you must adopt the dog of interest, if it isn't a good fit.
