Timid at first, she’s been learning to trust more every day and is starting to show her affectionate, curious side. She’s making great progress with her potty training and is a pro in her kennel.Blossom thrives around calm, respectful dogs—especially adults who let her set the pace for playtime. Energetic young pups can be a bit overwhelming for her while she’s still learning the ropes of dog life. She loves all chew toys and has recently started to enjoy short walks where she takes in every sight and sound like it’s a grand adventure.She’s good with kids who understand how to regulate their energy and give her space when she needs it. If you’re looking for a quiet, gentle companion who’s ready to blossom with a little patience and a lot of love, this sweet girl may be your perfect match.Age and breed are based on veterinarian and intake professional’s recommendation and not guaranteed as a rescue animal’s history is often unknown. All companion animals adopted by The Rescue Crew are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on age appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLK (cats) or heartworm (dogs), microchipped, dewormed and provided with monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives prior to adoption.  The Rescue Crew is a foster based rescue organization, meaning all of our adoptable pets are located in homes throughout Minnesota. Adoption Process
Adoption applications must be completed, which include information regarding references and vet clinic information, DL #, names, etc. Reference checks are conducted and when necessary vetting information verified. Discussion about the animal interested in to best assure appropriate and proper placement is made, and educational information regarding how to manage a multi-dog/animal household, slow and proper introductions and the importance of a shut-down period to help the animal acclimate to new surroundings. A "meet and greet" with the animal is required and whenever possible all residents of the household should be present. Home checks may, but not always, be necessary. After adoption applications is approved a contract is required, where we also stipulate that if for any reason the adopter determines they no longer want or can care for the animal we require it be returned to us, with the exception of documented bite history or potentially dangerous or dangerous dog designations. Adoption fees vary, but are comparable to or less than other local rescues and typically are $300 or less for a canine and $150 for a feline.
