American Belgian Malinois Rescue, Inc

The mission of the American Belgian Malinois, Inc (ABMR, Inc) is to act on behalf of homeless or unwanted purebred Belgian Malinois dogs. ABMR, Inc fulfills its mission of service by securing qualified assessment, care, fostering, medical treatment, rehabilitation, and permanent loving homes for Belgian Malinois dogs and puppies that are surrendered, impounded, neglected, abused, or discarded. This breed is often surrendered to shelters due to their high energy levels and are becoming popular with backyard breeders due to their large litters. Our dogs are required to be spayed or neutered before available for adoption.

Meet Max - NH

Meet Max who comes with a great love of life! He has boundless energy and is a goofy boy as he is still quite the puppy. He is a handsome boy that just wants a family to call his own! Adopters should have a good understanding about his breed, Belgian Malinois. Max needs to be both mentally and physically stimulated and needs to have his innate need to bite directed properly, which is typical of most Malinois. He bonds very quickly to his person. Due to his future estimated size, energy and drive, he will not be placed in a home with cats or children under 8 years old. He would do well with a non-confrontational male or female dogs (a dog meeting would be required before adoption). Max has a very high drive for toys and would do well in any activity that would keep his mind engaged and focused. Do your research on dog sports! He is not a couch potato and would love to be a part of your active life! If you're up for the challenge and Max sounds like the guy for you, please email [email protected]

Adoption Process
To adopt, you must submit an adoption application. Personal references, and Vet references are checked and a home visit is completed. Our mission is to match the family to the right dog Adoption fees range between $325-$550 depending on the age of the dog. Adopters must sign an adoption contract
