I am a 53 year old woman who lost my Hoover to a tragic accident and couldn't get any help during his search from any locals or shelters. I vowed this would never happen to anyone else. Started with fostering and have owned my own rescue for almost 3 years. I take in any and all breeds and can house between 30 and 60, depending on size. I love to help pregnant dogs.

Once your application is approved, the WI manager will call you to discuss adoption, answer questions and set up a private meet and greet if you are interested. This process can take up to 7 days. Journey is an 11 week old, Heeler/Chihuahua mix. Journey is a cute puppy that likes to play hard and sleep hard. He has been a joy for his foster family and he is learning all kinds of new things. He is doing good on his house training and he sleeps in his crate at night. Journey is socialized with kids and other dogs. He won't get big, so if you are looking for a small to medium sized dog, this boy will melt your heart.   He currently weighs 7 pounds. As always, we never guarantee the breed OR the size they'll be as an adult. Adoption Process
I drive 30-50 dogs to WI every month to find homes. There are too many dogs in my area to even think about an adoption fee. People see the dogs on petfinder (currently) do an application, my adoption coordinator approves applications, all dogs are fully vetted for their age and altered.
