About Me: Name:  Hawaiian Flora, Haddie Sunshine, Halen Aviva, Haruki Breed (or best guess):  Corgi mix is best guess Approximate Age: 3 months Gender: Male/Female Approximate Weight: 8-14 lb on 5/22/25 Adoption Fee: $600 Requirements: Loving Family Why In Rescue: Texas transfer Profile:   This adorable 4 pack came from our Texas Rescue Partner who rescues dogs from animal control facilities in rural Texas where a dog's only chance at a family is to find a rescue to take them in.  Hawaiian Flora (tan/black female), Haddie Sunshine (tan female), Halen Aviva (tan female), Haruki (tan male) are all littermates even if they look like they came from different litters.  They are happy, playful pups who love attention.  We don't know what their breed is, but we do have their momma who looks like a Corgi/something mix, so your guess is as good as ours as to the breed.  Be prepared for an active puppy if you adopt one of these great dogs.  These babies have spent their entire lives in a rescue/shelter, so they will need to learn all the things puppies have to learn in new homes.  They are just babies, and will learn fast, they will just need some patience as they figure things out. We do our best to evaluate the dogs while they are with us, but they sometimes act different in the shelter environment than they do in a home.  Many times we do not know the actual breed/mix or age of the dog, in that case we use our best guess as to breed and age.   We are located in Mukwonago, WI.  Adopters must come to us, we do not ship our dogs.  Please do not apply for a dog until you are ready to adopt.  Once an application is approved you will be notified by email to make an appointment to meet the dog.  All dogs are seen by appointment only. The adoption fee through Bichon and Little Buddies Rescue is $495 for most adults and up to $650 for puppies which includes Wi State Sales Tax.  Included in this fee is your new companion who will be spayed/neutered, have a current Certificate of Veterinary Inspection (as required by state law), current on age appropriate vaccinations, heartworm tested (if old enough) and started on preventative, microchipped, and given a general wormer.  Other medical needs will also have been taken care of, such as dentals and treating ear infections.  To assist you and your new pet in adjusting to life together, you may chose to take an 8 week age appropriate obedience training course at For Pet's Sake Dog Training in Mukwonago, WI for $100 (up to $260 value).  You may opt to take Puppy Kindergarten, Adult Beginners, or Small Dogs Big Hearts.  You must register for the class within 90 days of adoption for the reduced fee.  For more information on the classes visit www.forpetssake.cc  

Adoption Process
Before meeting with a dog, a pre-adoption application must be completed. After the application is approved, a meeting is arranged between the adopter and the pet. An adoption contract is signed, adoption fee paid (generally $495), and the dog is able to go to the new home once all medical care is given. Dogs are fully vetted, including vaccinations, microchip, spay/neuter, heartworm test, deworming, dental if needed, and other procedures needed by the particular dog. Adopters are required to return the dog to us if they are unable or unwilling to care for the dog in the future.
