Once your application is approved, the WI manager will call you to discuss adoption, answer questions and set up a private meet and greet if you are interested. This process can take up to 7 days. Posie, female, 9mo old Mini Heeler mix, weighs 27lbs Posie was a lost dog found hiding under a car at a Walmart parking lot in Kenosha. We were able to track down the owners, however they were not interested in wanting her back. We were shocked as she is so well behaved and sweet as cherry pie. Posie has been a joy and gets along great with the other dogs. She was with kids in her previous home so she does like attention from young ones and is very content to sleep in her crate when she wants some quiet time. She loves to go for walks and we are working on her leash manners as she does have a tendency to want to pull. She is completely house broken and knows her house manners. All she wants right now is to have a family to love again!   We are located at S47 W30760 State Road 59, North Prairie, WI As always, we never guarantee the breed OR the size they'll be as an adult. Adoption Process
I drive 30-50 dogs to WI every month to find homes. There are too many dogs in my area to even think about an adoption fee. People see the dogs on petfinder (currently) do an application, my adoption coordinator approves applications, all dogs are fully vetted for their age and altered.
