The mission of the American Belgian Malinois, Inc (ABMR, Inc) is to act on behalf of homeless or unwanted purebred Belgian Malinois dogs. ABMR, Inc fulfills its mission of service by securing qualified assessment, care, fostering, medical treatment, rehabilitation, and permanent loving homes for Belgian Malinois dogs and puppies that are surrendered, impounded, neglected, abused, or discarded. Meet McKinney - TX

Meet McKinney! Located in OK. Born 4-25-23 to a DNA purebred mom and AKC Dad, she is going to make a wonderfully fun dog for a Mal savvy home. McKinney is super sweet, moderate to high drive and needs to be worked or played with multiple times a day. Once tired she likes to curl up in a chair or lay on the couch with her people but particularly with the fosters teenager that she has claimed as her own human. She likes to lay on foster mom too and will gladly bound into her lap! McKinney will also lay quietly in the evenings and chew on her toys. She is house trained, crate trained, working on leash and basic manners, knows sit, down and come, unless keep away is more fun! She LOVES her ball, plays fetch and playing with other dogs. She is not a candidate for a home with small children or small dogs. She has met cats in her foster home and can be redirected with a lot of persistence. She has also been exposed to the chicken pen which is pretty irresistible! McKinney loves riding in the car, is happy with 2 older large female dogs. She can be mouthy but is learning that is a NO. Above all she will need a home with a good fence and supervision in the yard because she is also a climber! She will gladly climb on anything if allowed. And is an excellent jumper. She does not currently have a lot of focus so will need a very structured home. So in other words McKinney is a perfectly normal Malinois puppy!!!
