Meet Chopper NY

Chopper is an almost 6 yr old  male who is currently in NY state. He came into rescue due to life changes and no fault of his own.  He absolutely loves people and is extremely affectionate and cuddly. Absolutely loves to play with people and games like fetch and tug are fun. He behaves on leash and seems to ignore wildlife on walks. He does have mild separation anxiety but will settle after singing the song of his people. He was spoiled before coming into rescue and will need an experienced home who will build his confidence while also enforcing boundaries for him to thrive. He will not be placed with children and would do best with a calmer dog in the house and not a multi dog home as he reacts to excitement.  We believe with training that should improve but not at this time. Chopper is UTD on vaccinations and is neutered, housebroken and crate trained.

Adoption Process
Adoption application must be submitted, personal references, and Vet references are checked. Adoption fees are $350 and if the adoption does not work out the dog must come back to us contractually
