The mission of the American Belgian Malinois, Inc (ABMR, Inc) is to act on behalf of homeless or unwanted purebred Belgian Malinois dogs. ABMR, Inc fulfills its mission of service by securing qualified assessment, care, fostering, medical treatment, rehabilitation, and permanent loving homes for Belgian Malinois dogs and puppies that are surrendered, impounded, neglected, abused, or discarded. This breed is often surrendered to shelters due to their high energy levels and are becoming popular with backyard breeders due to their large litters. Our dogs are required to be spayed or neutered before available for adoption.

Meet Uri - VA

Uri is a young male who was adopted from and returned to an animal shelter for having typical, young Malinois energy. ABMR is now hard at work fostering and getting him ready for his forever home. He will need a home that will keep him active, engaged mentally and physically, and continue obedience work. We will post additional information as it becomes available!

Adoption Process
To adopt, you must submit an adoption application. Personal references, and Vet references are checked and a home visit is completed. Our mission is to match the family to the right dog Adoption fees range between $325-$550 depending on the age of the dog. Adopters must sign an adoption contract
