Meet Max

If these sad eyes could talk, we would probably have a broken heart. This is Max- Frozen’s son from a previous litter for those who have been following her story. Max is about 5-6 years old and he has spent most of his time living outdoors on a chain too short to reach his dog house. Max is much more visibly weathered than his mama with a chain impression around his neck, as well as fly and thick weather damaged ears.  With living outside he doesn’t have the basic training an average dog of his age would. Max is learning where we go potty (no inside accidents so far ), that poop doesn’t need to be consumed (his foster family will feed him three meals a day) and there’s this thing called a furnace in the house (he thinks it’s a bit warm inside). Despite all of that, Max has happily made himself at home and patiently waits for the attention from his humans!  He is good with kids of all ages, great with female dogs and neutered males, cats are unknown and he would love a fenced in backyard to run!    Adoption fee of $450 includes: veterinary exam,  DHPP up to date at time of adoption, microchip, spay/neuter and deworming.
