Meet Otis

Pup spot light of the day is Otis! He is 10 weeks old, 9 lbs and believed to be a chihuahua/pug mix. He lives with 3 dogs and a 12 year old + foster mom & dad. His favorites are to play rough with our 2 year old dauchaund mix, running around in the backyard, or playing independently. He let's us know when he needs something with grunty noises such as being hungry, tired, or needs to go outside. We're still working on knowing exactly when he needs to go outside, but is food motivated, so he's getting close to being fully potty trained! He hasn't been exposed much to being on a leash - we have a fence in backyard, so he just goes out and runs. But we will work on leash training! He sleeps in his kennel at night and goes in the crate when we leave the house. We believe he would do best in a family with other dogs that love to play and wrestle, and with adults or older kids (not young kids). He doesn't enjoy being picked up and held, but he enjoys being loved on and he typically wants to be close by. We love having this active and independent little guy!
