Cookie is a bit nervous of new people so it may take a couple of meets for him to get comfortable with you. We are told by the previous owner that he can be dog selective mostly with males and he has never met a cat. He loves toys and walkies. He is a sweet boy with so much love to offer! We are unsure of him with cats. He can be dog selective, mostly with males, but has lived with dogs in the past. A dog test will be required if you have a pup already. Adoption Process
Interested adopters must fill out an adoption application. We verify that current pets are UTD on Rabies vaccinations and spayed or neutered. If the applicants rent we verify with the landlord that they are approved to adopt a pet. Adopters must fill out an adoption contract and sterilization agreement if the pet is not already altered. Pets that are not altered can only be adopted out to residents of Warren County or a surrounding jurisdiction. The adoption fee for cats is $15 and the fee for dogs is $30. The adoption fee does not include the cost of spay or neuter. If the animal is not altered adopters are required to have the pet altered within 30 days of adoption or by the time it reaches 6 months old.
