Paws Across Pittsburgh

Paws Across Pittsburgh is a 501(c)(3), foster based, non-profit animal rescue located in the Pgh area. Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome homeless, abused and/or unwanted dogs and cats.We are run solely by volunteers with the goal of providing vet care, socialization skills and nutritional needs while living in a loving foster home. All animals that enter into the rescue will receive appropriate vet care, spay/neuter, vaccinations and preventative treatments.Our goal is to assure a loving, forever home for each one of our animals.We have a monthly pet pantry, provide temporary fostering for emergency situations, have a Senior pets for Seniors program, and more.

Meet Steve

Steve is about a year ago. He came to Paws after being hit by a car severely breaking both of his left legs. He had to have the front leg amputated and the back leg was repaired by harvesting bone from the amputated leg. Steve is rehabbing,  and go do approximately 6 steps right now. Once healed it is anticipated he will have no issues with steps. He is dog friendly and is quite the lover boy. He's a beautiful dog!
