Meet Simba
Meat head Simba here ready to bust out of these doors. Simba is a sweet boy with a wild side! He is around 3 years old. See, Simba is a young boy who needs some training but with the love he has he will make the perfect best friend. He would prefer a home with no other k9 pals. He loves everyone he meets but would do best in a home with kids 7 or older. We would want the entire family to come to the meet and greet. He loves to play in the water and will make an excellent co pilot as he also loves to go for rides in the car. He is crate and housetrained. We are unsure of him and cats and with his high energy you will want to do super SLOW and patient introductions. Simba is neutered, microchipped and fully vaccinated!Interested in adopting? Fill out an application at www.humanesocietywarrencounty.org For more information email [email protected] Stop by the shelter today to visit with our adoptable dogs and cats! Adoption fees: Dogs $140 Cats $85 Humane Society of Warren County 1245 Progress Dr. Front Royal, VA 22630 540-635-4734 Open 10-4 Thursday-Tuesday. Closed Wednesday
Adoption Process
Interested adopters must fill out an adoption application. We verify that current pets are UTD on Rabies vaccinations and spayed or neutered. If the applicants rent we verify with the landlord that they are approved to adopt a pet. Adopters must fill out an adoption contract and sterilization agreement if the pet is not already altered. Pets that are not altered can only be adopted out to residents of Warren County or a surrounding jurisdiction. The adoption fee for cats is $15 and the fee for dogs is $30. The adoption fee does not include the cost of spay or neuter. If the animal is not altered adopters are required to have the pet altered within 30 days of adoption or by the time it reaches 6 months old.
