Meet Peanut

Meet Peanut! A golden retriever terrier mix who is ready to love you forever.Peanut came into rescue after his brother, Cooper, and is now looking for his forever home. At 5 months old and weighing about 30 pounds, Peanut was the smaller one of the litter but is growing into a loving, playful pup who will make a perfect addition to any family.Peanut has a sweet and gentle nature. He’s very eager to please and be your best friend. Though playful, he’s surprisingly laid-back for his age, and he’s already showing signs of being an easygoing dog.Curious and quick to learn, Peanut is doing great with basic commands like "sit," "no," and crate training. While he’s not quite ready for walks just yet, he’s shown promise on a leash and loves playing ball in his foster home’s yard. He also adores his foster brother and enjoys following his lead.Peanut has been around children and is known to be great with them. However, due to his size, he’d likely do best with kids aged 10 and up and a fenced-in yard. However, he is open to any family or individual who feels like a good fit! This lovable boy is content playing with his toys but is at his happiest when curled up next to his people. He’ll thrive in a home that’s ready to continue his training and grow with him.Peanut will be available for adoption starting September 21, 2025 through Paws Across Pittsburgh (Springdale, PA 15144, KL #16182).
