Meet Ivy

Meet Ivy. This sweet 4-month-old girl is a 31-flavor mix and weighs in at a cuddly 20 pounds. With her soulful brown eyes and soft chocolate coat, Ivy will melt your heart like a scoop of fudge on a warm day. Ivy is making great progress with housebreaking and always keeps her crate clean. She's a quiet sleeper, resting peacefully in her crate from 9 PM to 7 AM.She’s a gentle soul—initially shy around kids—but given a little time and space, she warms up beautifully. Ivy prefers calm introductions and will come to you when she's ready. Once she does, you've got a loyal shadow for life.Ivy is currently learning “sit” and “lay down,” and she’s doing well! She's usually quiet, but might bark at her reflection or at the neighbor dog Charlie (her occasional frenemy). Like many puppies, she’s still working on chewing manners, especially when it comes to pillow corners—so a watchful eye helps!She did well with other dogs at the shelter. She's not currently fostered with cats, so her behavior with them is unknown.If you're looking for a loving, loyal companion, who just needs typical puppy structure, consisentcy and patience, Ivy might just be your perfect match.
